Everything you need to know for locating the perfect town

Summer rental listings from Cindy include this 5 bedrooms, 4-bathroom home with a spacious front porch for peace and relaxation at 2007 Ocean Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762

Have you always dreamt of spending a summer on the iconic Jersey Shore and are hunting for the perfect home to do so? Lucky for you, you have come to the right place! The New Jersey coast features over 40 beach towns each that have their own unique vibe. They are all filled with restaurants, entertainment, and beaches that reflect it. Along with each town comes a different housing type, ranging from cozy bungalows to large oceanfront villas.

To help you locate the ideal location for you and your family, I have compiled some tips that I have picked up on over my many years of experience at the Jersey Shore.

Match your family’s needs

If you have younger kids that can’t get enough of the excitement that comes along with an amusement park or boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach, Seaside Heights, Beach Haven, Ocean City, and the Wildwoods are perfect for you! If you are the type of beachgoer that enjoys a peaceful early night so that you can hit the beach bright and early, some truly special and unique towns are Cape May, Stone Harbor, Avalon, and most especially, Spring Lake. Not only does Spring Lake provide an amazing atmosphere for relaxation, but also it is loaded with fantastic restaurants, beaches, entertainment, and a great section of boardwalk that is great for an evening stroll with an ice cream cone.

Search for rentals during the pre-season

Spring is the absolutely perfect time to look at rental homes at the Jersey Shore. You will see first hand how much effort the locals put into perfecting every facet of the town so that when you come and visit the area is perfect. You will be able to visualize what the beach looks like before it is covered by beachgoers, see first hand which restaurants you would be interested in dining at, and most importantly, see the home that you would spend your time in. Choose a sunny warm spring day to hop in your vehicle and take a trip down!

Rentals are better than hotels

Each unique beach home has its own look based off of what each landlord is interested in! This will allow you to truly connect with the home and appreciate its sheer beauty rather than staying in a hotel chain that is very similar at the Jersey Shore to one in another state.

This summer rental features a splendid porch, gorgeous white kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 1,1 bathrooms at 1205 5th Avenue, Spring Lake, NJ 07762

Location matters

If you are searching for a home that is right on the water, then expect to pay more than one that is located further inland by the restaurants and shops. Even though a home a short walk off of the may not have water views, being closer to entertainment will allow you to truly get the best of both worlds.

Find out what is included

Before you instantly agree on which home will be your residence for a summer of fun in the sun, it is important to know exactly what comes along with it. Some homes offer cleaning services and Wi-Fi, some offer parking included, and there are even houses that will include beach badges. At many beaches down the Jersey Coast, beach badges can be expensive, so whenever a home includes them with the rental it is the cherry on top. What could be better than a memorable summer in an excellent location where the owners actually want you to go to the beach? Nothing I know!

This delightful summer rental features 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a large private backyard, is in a prime location, and offers complimentary Spring Lake beach badges at 568 Central Ave Spring Lake Heights, NJ!
